Nominating Committee Past Events

NOMINATING COMMITTEE FORUM JANUARY 17
To promote our goals of a more transparent selection process and a prepared leadership, the Nominating Committee will have a forum to discuss and answer questions about the nominating process and leadership at our church Sunday, January 17 at 12:45 in Room 13.  We will answer your questions and address your concerns about committee and board leadership for 2010-2011.  Applications and sample interview questions will be available.  If you are interested in leadership positions, contact members of the nominating Committee: Sandra Ries, Chair; Tyler Anderson, Jennifer Loehlin, Michael LeBurkien, or Jeanette Swenson.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT BEGINS ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 20
Wednesday, January 20, at 7 PM kicks off  Harvest the Power, a UU curriculum for leadership development.  The twelve part curriculum reflects the ongoing commitment of the Nominating Committee to developing a prepared pool of leadership for our church.  The workshops include the following themes: Self (personal journey as a leader); Community (interaction between leaders and the community they serve); Leadership (healthy leadership presence  and qualities); and Vision (leading with purpose and vision). The free classes will be held every 3rd Wednesday from 7-9 PM in Room 13.  Lynn Adams will lead the first session, asssisted by Michael Kersey.
