CampUU – Hogwarts

From July 26-30, 2010, First UU Church will transform into
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Students will have the opportunity to play Quidditch and Wizard Chess, as well as pursue studies of Herbology, Potions, Magical Creatures, and more! Afternoon activities include social action projects and field trips to local muggle sites.
All of our spaces for grades 1-6 have been filled. Those entering grades 7-9 may enroll as assistant prefects, while those entering grades 10 and above (including college) will serve as full prefects and assist with running the camp. Camp hours:
Monday – Thursday, 8:30-4:30; Friday 8:30-3:00 (ends after the Great Feast)
Half day is 8:30 am to 12:30 pm; Friday 8:30-3:00 (ends after the Great Feast)
Tuition:
Assistant Prefects ages 12-15: $100
Prefects ages 16 and up: free

If you are interested in having your children (or yourself!) participate in the camp in July of 2010, please join the CampUU mailing list at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CampUU/ (please include brief information about yourself and your interest). All information about the upcoming camp will be posted there. Adults are sought to participate as volunteer professors for morning classes, house elves, chaperones for afternoon field trips, or members of the Ministry of Magic. Childcare is provided for visiting professors and other volunteers with children too young to attend classes.
